Local butcher shops have completely disappeared from the townscape following the advent of large chains in the grocery trade. There are a few exceptions. Strøm-Larsen in Torshov has, over 116 years, developed a unique brand and constantly presents new, flavourful products. How has COVID affected the business? Is it all idyllic when three generations meet behind the butcher's counter every day? And does the city's most popular sausage maker have any tips for those of us who want to indulge a little extra with the Christmas food this year?
