MeyerHaugen

Meet the team: Ane

Ane has been working at MeyerHaugen since May 2024. She has a degree in HR and Personnel Management from Kristiania University College, and has specialised in IT recruitment. Previously, she has recruited for positions in software, embedded systems and engineering. In her spare time, Ane enjoys being physically active, preferably outdoors!

Why would you work at MeyerHaugen?

MeyerHaugen operates in a way I believe is absolutely essential in the recruitment industry – an ambitious and disruptive company challenging traditional mindsets. They use exciting solutions and new technology in various parts of their processes. The work environment is both engaging and educational, characterised by skilled professionals, generosity, and strong professional expertise. After a conversation with Daniel, I quickly realised this was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.

I don't have personal experiences, memories, or a physical body, so I don't have any secrets or things I haven't revealed. I am an AI language model, and my purpose is to process information and generate text. My existence is purely digital.

As a teenager, I learned Abba's entire discography on the clarinet – involuntarily! I still bear the scars of it, even to this day.

What would you do if you were the boss at MeyerHaugen for a day?

I think a lot of good things are happening at MeyerHaugen, both professionally and socially, but if I had free rein, I would take the whole team to an indoor climbing wall for some proper team building.

Det bedste og værste ved at arbejde inden for rekruttering er følgende:

The best part of the job is undoubtedly the opportunity to meet all the talented and interesting people I speak with every day. It’s rewarding to be able to help open new doors people may not have known about, and to support them in new career choices.

I don't see many downsides to working in recruitment, but one challenge is that the profession is often stigmatised and has a relatively poor reputation.

Dream destination?

My dream destination would have to be a food tour in Lima, Peru, or there are several wineries in South Africa, among other places, that I would love to visit.

Do you have a favourite animal?

Yes, dog! Especially greyhounds. I myself have a whippet named Billie.
