Recruiter Alexander

Meet the team: Alexandre

Alexandre Bouyssou is one of our new employees. He has a background in the Armed Forces, where he participated in several overseas operations. Alexandre is half French and visits his family in France as often as he can. Most of his free time is spent on training and studies.

In his free time, Alexandre is active in both CrossFit and outdoor pursuits (ski touring and climbing). By socialising with friends while exercising, he manages to kill «two birds with one stone» and hopefully gets a few more available hours in the day. Alexandre is completing a bachelor's degree in economics alongside his job with us at MeyerHaugen.

Did you know that a group of owls is called a parliament?

I once lost a bet and had to sign up for a race walking competition. I won my age group and became the county champion! Mind you, I was the only one participating.

Why would you want to work for us at MeyerHaugen?

It was a bit random. I got chatting to Sverre Haugen and became very curious about the company. I quickly understood that this company is unlike any other and became very interested. I wanted to hear more. The snowball kept rolling and now I'm employed at MeyerHaugen.

What made you think that recruitment was something you'd be interested in working with?

was the challenge of finding the right person til Proper job. Getting to know the customer, investigating and analysing, to understand what they Actually looking for in the employment.

I enjoy the opportunities recruitment offers. It's very satisfying when you manage to find a solution nobody else has thought of. Sometimes you have to «think outside the box» to find the right candidate.

If you had been the boss of MeyerHaugen for a day, what would you have done?

I saw the film «Apocalypse Now» at Petter Meyer’s urging, as this was supposed to be the best film in the history of mankind. After watching the film, I question Petter’s judgement. So, as head of MeyerHaugen, I would introduce mandatory film nights, with high-quality films, such as Rocky 1-7.

Favourite animal?

The favourite is the dog. The family has a Samoyed named Birk.
