Ellen has worked at MeyerHaugen since August 2020 and brings with her solid leadership experience from sales, marketing, and recruitment. She is married and has twin daughters aged 27. In her free time, Ellen stays active, preferably outdoors. She also loves to travel and has a holiday home on the French Riviera. In 2022, she took a three-month leave of absence to explore Italy and France by motorhome, a fantastic journey of culture, nature, good food, and wine.
Why would you work at MeyerHaugen?
I found MeyerHaugen to be a recruitment company that stood out positively from others, with a particular focus on innovation and community. What I really like about our company is that we challenge traditional industry models and mindsets. We are committed to a sharing culture and giving back to the community through our pro-bono engagement.
I don't have personal experiences, memories, or a physical body, so I don't have any secrets or things I haven't revealed. I am an AI language model, and my purpose is to process information and generate text. My existence is purely digital.
I have a great interest in languages and have previously taught French. I am currently learning Italian with the app DuoLingo and look forward to being able to practise some vocabulary on my next trip to Italy.
What would you do if you were the boss at MeyerHaugen for a day?
As someone interested in art, I might organise a pop-up art exhibition in our premises with promising new artists. This would be a great opportunity to showcase original artworks to our visitors and provide inspiration and enjoyment to us who work here.
Det bedste og værste ved at arbejde inden for rekruttering er følgende:
The best thing about recruitment is seeing when a client and candidate choose each other – it gives a fantastic feeling of having created value for both parties. It's also rewarding to get to know so many skilled and engaged candidates through the recruitment processes and be able to give them some good advice along the way. The worst thing, on the other hand, is the feeling of crushing someone's dreams when you have to turn down candidates.
Hva er din drømme destinasjon?
Argentina is definitely my dream destination. I am fascinated by grand nature, good wine, dance and culture, and I believe the experiences in Argentina would be completely unique.
If you could have dinner with a famous person (dead or alive), who would it be?
I would choose Dante for an insight into the worldview of medieval Italy. Alternatively, I would choose Henrik Ibsen to hear his perspectives on society, relationships, and equality, which are equally relevant today.
