Kjetil is our new CFO. He lives in Røa with his wife, two children, and their cat, Snøfrid. Although Kjetil is officially a new hire, he has actually been with MeyerHaugen longer than most. Kjetil has been contributing his expertise in finance and accounting since the very beginning. Kjetil has extensive experience as a CFO from several different companies in the recruitment industry. He therefore has a thorough knowledge of the recruitment profession and its market.
I once sang backing vocals on a track for a niche Norwegian black metal band.
I suddenly started playing golf during the pandemic. I must admit, I've become a bit hooked on this somewhat «ungrateful» hobby. Even though it's now my second season of golf, I'm still a long way off from the PGA Tour. Golf is a fun hobby where you get out into the fresh air in all kinds of weather.
Why would you want to work for us at MeyerHaugen?
I've actually been working for MeyerHaugen for quite some time. I've been involved on the sidelines, almost from the very beginning. I like both the recruitment industry and MeyerHaugen very much, so it was easy to ask when there was a place for «someone like me» at MeyerHaugen.
If you had been the boss of MeyerHaugen for a day, what would you have done?
Then I would have taken all employees on an excursion to Augusta National Golf Club. Gone on a proper team-building trip, with the first flight out and worked on strategy between golf breaks.
What is your dream destination?
I'm very fond of Italy. I've been there several times, but I never tire of it. There are many destinations on my bucket list, but Italy is the destination that has «everything». Wine, food, architecture, and more.
Favourite animal?
I must say Snøfrid of course! Otherwise, I won't be allowed home afterwards...
