Santander is looking for a Nordic Chief Data Officer

One of our big questions is: how do we make the best decisions based on the vast amounts of data available? We are hiring a CDO to help us succeed in forging a data-driven organization. If you have proven results within the field and know how to create business value, you should read on. If you also have experience with risk mitigation and knows how to how help an organization take more analytical decisions, this might be a very interesting match!

Your job will be to take lead in all of Santander’s data-driven ambitions in the Nordic region. Your goal will be to ensure a sound strategic and operational focus on how we can transform data into valuable assets for business. This includes the following tasks:

Our dream candidate

We believe a relevant education combined with 5-10 years of experience within technology and data management is needed to succeed. With this background, you should have a proven track record from strategic data management initiatives, and a sound knowledge of data analytics, data mining and related systems and tools. Experience from, or strong understanding of, the banking industry and markets is also important, since knowledge of banking systems and data structures are essential. Our company language is English, but knowledge of a Scandinavian language and Spanish will be very useful.
