About the company
Hurtigruten is well known for its operation along the coast of Norway. But we are also a world leader in exploration travel, offering expedition cruises in places like Antarctica, Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, Alaska and the Northwest Passage. As a central part of our digital strategy, we are building our own data platform from scratch, based on cutting edge technology from the Azure stack and best of bread automation tools.

Now we ramp up our inhouse capacities by hiring a skilled Analytics Engineer to help us succeed with this!

About the role
As our Analytics Engineer you will work with like-minded people developing our new data platform. We select technology based on what we believe will be right for us in the future – our technology choices so far reflect this. You will be a key contributor to defining the path forward and have a central role in continued development of the platform.

Your role tasks will be diverse:

Who are we looking for?
We want Hurtigruten to be the home for adventurers. If you are motivated by challenges, not afraid of complexity and driven by the opportunity to create value for the business, you will love this role. The role fits someone who has a passion for enabling value in data and analytics, enjoys working in all parts of the data analytics lifecycle (ranging from ELT to BI & Analytics) and enjoy problem solving.

At Hurtigruten, you will work with people who are highly motivated to explore new technologies and investigate the future of digital platforms and services. Our Analytics Engineers are trusted by all other departments in the company and work shoulder to shoulder with them to empower the hands-on staff. We believe in people.

What can we offer/why you should join us
We want to do more in-house. The Oslo digital hub consists of a growing number of highly experienced and motivated developers and engineers. In our team you will get the challenges and support to pave the path for yourself and Hurtigruten’s future.
