Now we want to strengthen our security team further – to do this we are hiring an Information / Cyber Security Manager.

About the job
Our goal is to increase the general security level in the company, both in terms of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, but also in our technical cyber security system and processes. To succeed with this, we want to build a strong security team, and a establish a strong security culture widely in our organization. You will take lead in this. The following tasks are examples of relevant tasks you will focus on:
- Close cooperation with Director of IT and other executive stakeholders to develop our Security program/strategy
- Be responsible for development and implementation of a portfolio of security policies
- Lead the IT Security team and manage external consultants
- Hone our cyber security solutions
- Continuously review and improve technical security mechanisms
- Raise our company security culture and cyber awareness
- Develop our Security Response Plan
- Incident Management
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures and controls to meet internal and external compliance requirements
- Third party risk assessment and cyber supply chain risk management

Competancy requirments
To succeed in a role like this, you need to have good communication skills. It is important that you are able to communicate the importance of cybersecurity initiatives to both businesspeople and tech people. If you have a passion for cyber security, combined with communication skills, we think you will be able to motivate and drive positive cultural change.
In general, this role requires extensive security knowledge and technical understanding. Experience from the following will be appreciated when we evaluate candidates:
- Risk management
- IT Governance and compliance
- Cyber Security defence mechanisms
- Incident response
- Cyber forensics
- Project management
- Writing documentation and policies. Our company language is English, so you need to be fluent in English, with good writing skills
- Educational background preferably a master’s or bachelor’s degree, e.g. in data science or information security.
