About the role
As a DevOps Engineer you will have a central role for our Modern Programming Concepts and Application Lifecycle Management. Further on, you will cooperate with developers, scrum masters, product owners, our Nordic IT operation unit, cyber security teams and our commercial partners. In addition to this, it will be important to contribute with solid expertise due to our Azure Cloud Platform.
Tasks and responsibilities in the role include:
Collaborate with different stakeholders on system options, risks, impacts and costs vs. benefits
Install, configure and implement reusable components
Translate technical requirements
Assist within all stages of testing, developing interface stubs and simulators
Perform script maintenance and updates
Build automated deployments using configuration management technology
Troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving those

When evaluate candidates, we will emphasize the following experience, traits and qualifications:
Experience within DevOps, IT Operations or as a developer
Experience with Azure or AWS is appreciated
Competence with security and source control tools as Visual Studio, SonarQube, WhiteSource or Git
You are familiar with Kubernetes, containerization or other related tools
Experience with releasing software, preferably continuous deployment
Work experience in both project and agile teams
Knowledge from the bank/financial industry
You appreciate a lean mindset, are structured and enjoy learning and developing within this field
Bachelor’s degree within IT is a great asset, but not a requirement
Excellent communication skills in English (Nordic language is also preferred)
Residence and work permit in one of the Nordic countries
