We are continuously looking for Hedge Fund Specialists with varying levels of experience to join our team as the business grows.
This is a role at the heart of the hedge fund industry. You will be a part of the Fund Coordination department undertaking the role of a Hedge Fund Specialist working primarily on our key products, our Malta and Cayman fund platforms. The role will give you a wide insight into the fund industry in different jurisdictions but also give you a unique overall knowledge behind the legal, operational, and compliance aspects that take place behind a fund.
Daily responsibilities:
- Set up hedge funds on the AKJ Fund Platforms for new clients i.e. our fund managers.
- Maintain professional relationships with fund managers, service providers such as auditors, fund administrators, and directors of the fund.
- Develop a detailed understanding of AKJ’s services and business goals.
- Identify, understand, and communicate clients’ requests/needs to various departments within AKJ to deliver clients’ expectations.
- Compile periodic board reports and monthly reports.
- Work closely with AKJ teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system development with the aim of improving efficiencies.
- Deal with all Fund related matters.

What do we look for:
- University Degree in Business/Finance/Law or similar.
- Curious and driven young professionals just finishing their Master.
- Young professionals with relevant experience from the finance industry. Experience with fund/asset management is an advantage.
- Strong Interest in finance and crypto.
- The role will require that you structure your work and act proactively to provide the best service to clients.
- Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory.
